Director of Training
Bud received his training in communications while serving in the U.S. Army. Upon entering civilian life, he had a career in telecommunications with GTE for 29 years. Since his retirement in 1999, Bud has worked at Staking U as Senior Instructor and Director of Training. |

Paul Larkin, Instructor
Paul was involved with
the construction of the original Staking U. field classroom
in Pt. Huron, MI. Locating since 1994, he later held both
training and management positions with a locating company.
Currently, Paul manages Staking U's business affairs as
well as providing locating services for Chicago-area engineering
firms. |

Don Weber, Instructor
Don has nearly 45 years
of experience in the natural gas distribution industry in
northern Illinois. After spending most of his years in the
field, Don elected to go into management late in his career
and help manage the company's efforts to provide over one-half
million annual locates to excavators. |

Mike Parilac, Senior Instructor
President,
Staking University
Mike began working in the
utility contracting business in 1982 as a field technician
and, five years later, began his career in utility contracting
and equipment sales. Mike began work on Staking University
in the fall of 1998 and is the owner of Underground Focus
Magazine, Staking U and The Planet Underground.
