Official NTSB Recommendations Published
In last month's newsletter, we outlined the NTSB's preliminary report on the 2005 Bergenfield, NJ explosion.
On June 7, the official recommendations were published.
What are the common threads in the NTSB recommendations? The very same things that World of Training addresses:
Reducing Risk - includes risk assessments, developing procedures for safe excavation, increased surveillance of excavations.
Training - initial and ongoing.
Preventing Disaster - have plans in place for incident response including assessment and action.
